سرواژه های عبارت GNU Compiler Collection است، GCC یک مجموعه از کامپایلرهای برنامه نویسی شامل سی، سی پلاس پلاس، سی شی گرا، فرترن، جاوا و ادا است.

بعد از نصب، یک فایل C ساده با اجرای دستورات زیر کامپایل می‌شود.

gcc -o test test.c

در مثال بالا، کامپایلر GCC از نام test برای خروجی کامپایل فایل test.c به زبان سی استفاده می‌کند و در نهایت فایل test.exe ایجاد خواهد شد.

یک نسخه ی ویندوزی از GCC در سایت http://www.mingw.org وجود دارد.
